Fun to read and has a great flow.
Just received this today and absolutely LOVED it!! I’m raising my daughters in the country with farm animals so I hoped I would enjoy it; however, I mainly bought it to show support for the author. I read it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how cute and clever it was... by far my favorite children’s book to read at the moment!
Rory did a GREAT job!!! Kids love it!
We were admittedly already fans of Joey and Rory, so when this book came out it was automatic that we would buy it. The book is incredibly cute with excellent illustration. A little tear jerking seeing the family photo on the dresser on one of the pages (Google Joey Feek) but just an absolutely fun and wonderful story that the kids loved and I look forward to reading night after night. Keep them coming Rory!
Who says What?
Children who have dutifully heard and learned to repeat all the standard farm animal sounds will enjoy this mixed up book where everyone wants to be someone else. Spare, flowing text and lighthearted illustrations make this a great one on one book or story time read. It's simple enough for beginning readers to tackle on their own but too much fun not share. At the library where I work I will definitely point this book out to the little boy who loves everything to do with farming. But anyone can enjoy this gentle, comic picture book.
Great book for the little ones adventures
This is a great book I would reccomend it to others. Rorey Feek is a talented writer of childrens books. I hope he writes more in the future. He has a beautiful daughter”Indy” who inspires him to write these stories. Great job Rorey, you are an inspiration to all an keeping your beautiful wife Joey alive in Indy’s life an everyone who knew her an loved her music. She is an Angel in Heaven looking down on her precious Indy an inspiring you as you raise her. Thankyou for allowing everyone to share in your life. May God bless always!
A sweet fun story about animals on the farm
This is Rory’s first children’s book. It’s a fun story about the animals on their farm. Joey & Rory fans already know that Rory is a natural born storyteller. It appears that these last six year telling stories to his young daughter, Indiana, has turned him into an excellent children’s author too. My 10 y.o. granddaughter loves to read this book to our younger grandchildren over & over while they all giggle as they make the animal noises. Such a sweet fun story. Great job, Rory.
4 year old loves this book!
My 4 year old absolutely loves this book!!! If your child is still learning animal sounds you may want to hold off on this book until they are a little older! Fun, silly book where animals make sounds of other farm animals.
Delightful Story and Illustrations
Everything about this great board book is a treat. I enjoy reading and interacting with our now four year old. She has this on her favorites bookshelf and we read it often. Good for toddlers and preschoolers and then when they start learning how to read. A winner in every category. Thank You Rory Feek for sharing even more of your talents.
Wow!
This is a great book--especially for young ones that can't read yet--and even for littles who can. They will find thIs funny and silly at the same time. The cadence is perfect and offers an opportunity to read using various voices of each animal. My granddaughter laughs each time we read it and I take on the character of each one. Pictures are super! This is a keeper! Well done to the author and illustrator!
Adorable and Silly
My toddler loves this book. Between making the sounds and laughing about the animals making the wrong noises, we have a ball reading it. The illustrations are very sweet too. The book is pretty rugged which is nice!
I adore this book!
I bought this book in hardcover, before I saw any soft cover. It’s gorgeous! Beautiful illustrations and great text. I love it and will be giving it to my grandson when he turns three. A child of three can be hard on a hard cover book, so I would recommend a soft cover or board book if available.
